I needed wifi to use my laptop for work and a quick check of zomato said that this was the nearest place that could help me out. Needless to say I wasn't expecting more than a cafe but the Clock is wonderful! Descend the spiral staircase to the spacious basement level and relax as all memory of the ragged rain outside is erased as you swim in the warmth of the chicken soup of the day. The convenience, the friendliness of the staff and the delicious food brought me back several more times that week! Marvellous.

I was using the Zomato App to find a nearby place with Wifi as I needed to send some emails, The Clock was the nearest place. From the outside it is rather unassuming and looks like your typical small cafe. However once inside you are greeted by a spiral staircase that leads you down to an exceptional seating area (Check out the Photos).

The food is well priced. My colleague and I both had the soup of the day, a delightfully creamy chicken and vegetable, it went down smoothly with a pot of tea. My meal and drink came to less than £5! I will definitely be coming here again.

Lovely place for having brunch for a reasonable price. The interior is very nice and welcoming although we dined outside. The exterior on the other hand could be improved. Also it's a rather busy area so I would definitely recommend to go inside. Overall the food was good and very reasonable priced. The coffee was excellent. Very kind staff!
